Kate Moss Vogue Nippon Cover July 2009. Although I have no idea what the Vogue Nippon cover is saying I love this cover. Kate Moss looks super fierce. The way her hair is styled and her makeup showcasing a bold red orange hued lip and silver smokey eyes. Her hair shows us a very sexy and sophisticated side swept bang and her tribal top is very ethnic. Curious to see how it looks take a peak below.

In part one I talked about the different ways you can achieve the perfect tan/glow for your body. Part two is all about the different ways you can achieve the perfect tan/glow for your face, with the use of makeup. Before applying any make-up on your face always start with a primer.
Primer: simply a girl’s best friend they can create magic for anyone’s skin. Doing little things such as giving you instantly smoother, softer skin, shrinking your pores, removing oil and dry rough patches and helping your overall makeup stay on longer. Primer will also help keep your skin glowing without letting oil seep in. Products I recommend:
•Smashbox Cosmetics – photo finish foundation primer •Bare Minerals -BareVitamins Prime Time
Face: after applying your magic wand its time to move on to the face. Many people don’t like to wear heavy makeup in the summer because they feel like they are melting and makeup can get very sticky. At the same time they also want their skin to look healthy and glowing without looking oily. The best thing is to stick to tinted moisturizers that are oil-free. That way your pores are less likely to clog and you are still getting coverage. In order to create a glow or tan look try purchasing a shade darker than you would normally use. Remember to only go one shade darker so that you look still looks as natural as possible. Another good thing is that most tinted moisturizers have SPF in their products.
If you feel that tinted moisturizers don’t give you enough coverage try and buy brands that are oil-free so that your pores don’t get clogged with oil in the summer heat. You might also want to try mineral based products because they are also light way and many of them will give you the look of healthy glowing skin.

•COSMEDICINE – Honest Face Skin Tint & Treatment SPF 20

Checks: the fun part of creating a healthy glow because the checks if where it all shines. Glowing checks can add a new def to your face with wonderful illusions. This is why one of the best ways to create glowing checks is with luminizers. If you wish to do so you can mix your luminzing products with any of your foundations in order to create a bigger brighter glow to your skin. It all depends on the look you are going for. If you just want glowing checks than you can use luminizers as a blush to create and bring light to your checks or any other areas of your face. Such as your nose, eyes, or forehead.
•Sephora: Luminous Trio
•Bare Minerals- i.d. bareMinerals All-Over Face Color ( minerals)
•Smashbox Cosmetics- O-GLOW
Eyes: summertime is great for waterproof eye liners and mascara. You can also try eye primers so that your eye makeup last longer. If you want to create or add to your glowing skin, you can use colors such as bronze, silver, gold, and turquoise (which are great for already tan skin). You can also try cream eye shadow; most creams have little shimmers in them that can really make your eyes pop. Eye Primers
•MAKE UP FOR EVER-Eye Seal
Waterproof Eyeliner and Mascara
•MAKE UP FOR EVER- Waterproof Eyeliner
•TARTE- Lights, Camera, Splashes! Waterproof Mascara
Cream and Eye shadows
•Bare Minerals- Get Started Eyes
•BENEFIT COSMETICS- Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner
Lips: If you’re trying to a healthy glowing look with your lips always try to use colors that are nude, natural and pink. Nude colors and soft natural lips will make the rest of your face pop with color. So if you want to achieve a healthy glow remember to play up the rest of your face, always leave your lips natural and soft. Some great products and colors that I recommend are
•Lorac- nude
•Nars -Belle de Jour or Casablanca

Since summer is pretty much around the corner, getting tan skin and glowing skin is everyone’s top priority. Let’s face it. A nice tan makes you look and feel great. Plus, it can hide ugly cellulite and also make you appear thinner. It can also help prevent serious sunburn.
If you’re old fashion and you believe in getting a tan the natural way you should always protect yourself with sunscreen having at least an SPF of 30 or more. Apply as often as you can to make sure you’re protecting your beautiful skin from sunrays. I must however warn you that by tanning this way you are in high risk of getting a sun burn, so you should really check out a tanning salon first. The old saying burn first and tan later is completely false.
One of the biggest secrets for getting healthy natural looking tanned skin is actually by going to a tanning salon and getting a small base tan. If you’re scared about going to the tanning salon research the best ones in your area and visit the salon before you actually get the producer done. If you have a Mystic Tan is your area I highly recommend going there since their tan can brown your skin very nicely. Ask for a level one tan which is perfect for achieving a nice tanned look. After a while you can start lying in the sun if you want to keep your tan up or to make it darker. Now that you have a base tan your skin will tanner easier. Or you can keep going to the salon, but you must do one of the two in order to keep your tan going strong and healthy!
When it comes to tanning, every person’s skin type is different so you may get different results. Before getting started me sure you talk with your local tanning salon for a skin type analysis (from a Smart Tan Certified Tanning Consultant) so you can get a good idea of where to start.
Always remember that tanning too often can and will speed up your aging process and potentially cause other skin ailments over a long period of time. So make sure that you aren’t tanning too often.
There is of course a easier way to get both a tan and glowing skin at the same time. And you don’t have to worry about getting skin damage or take time out of your schedule by lying in the sun. As you may know many companies are producing wonder little bottles of self tanners and lotions to apply daily. You may be thinking these products are going to make my skin look natural or brown, just orange and sticky. This used to be true, but over the past few years tanner lotions have gotten better. The trick is knowing which ones produce the best results. Always make sure that your product contains a small dose of that tan in a bottle miracle called DHA. This is the good stuff that provides healthy skin benefits , while firming and reducing stubble .
hey girls and guys, I know everyone is excited about the summer . This is my first time really talking about makeup products in a blog, but since summer is vastly approaching summer makeup tips make great blogs.
One of the best products for summer, or all year long really is Bare Minerals. The reason I say this is because Bare Minerals not only covers your flaws but it also protects your skin. It contains SPF 15 and is completely mineral based and natural. It’s great for summer because it won’t melt like other makeups tend to do in the summer. The next time you go shopping for makeup look around and you will find that many lines of cosmetics are coming out with mineral makeup. Why you might be asking? Well its simple, minerals work best for women of all ages, they don’t clog your pores so if you are fighting acne you can have coverage and not worry about more breakouts. Plus mineral makeup doesn’t cake or fill in lines and wrinkles.
Out of all of the mineral makeup’s that I have tried I must say that Bareminerals works best for me because it gives my skin a healthy glow, a flawless finish and it doesn’t look like my face has alot of makeup on. It looks natural and makes your skin so soft. They have even gone as far as creating makeup that you can wear at night that heals your skin like any normal skincare product. Expect you don’t have to worry about creams or liquids, and it won’t clog your pores because it’s natural. So you can go to sleep with makeup knowing that your skin is being healed. I have used this product for a month now and even without the bare minerals foundation my skin is glowing and healthy.
Bare Minerals also caries many different shades that you can mix and match to find your best second skin, plus the blushes range in so many colors and it works great for all skin tones and complexions. Perfect for all skin Conditions including Oily, Resaca, and Acne. The best part about bare minerals is that if you do have problem skin it will actually improve with using the product . I know I sound like some sells lady but I’m only telling you the truth, and if you don’t believe me try it yourself. It’s a great product and afterwards you will see why I ranted and raved about it.
